George W. Jageman is pleased to announce a series of accomplishments in the Texas Masters Championship meet held at Jesuit High School Stadium in Dallas, Texas on July 29.
Mr. Jageman maintained his Texas Pole Vault Champion status by winning a Gold in that event, and won Silver medals in each of his other 5 other events (high jump, long jump, discus, shot put, and javelin).
Commenting on his life-long series of track and field accomplishments, Mr. Jageman states: "I do this for fun. The main practical value in being a Senior Olympics champion is excellent health from being in shape. I've learned many lessons from my athletic career, and use them when I speak to people throughout the state, during my whistling concerts."
Mr. Jageman's next meet is scheduled for October 7th and 8th, and, if successful there, he will then go on to the Senior Olympics National Competition at San Antonio, Texas in August of next year.
