Janet about Patsy

This project is as close to a "tribute" as I will ever do. I believe Patsy Montana deserves it. She was one of the first to open the entertainment doors for women. She was there in the early 1930’s when this business was a man’s world and she never stopped leading the pack. Patsy was always available to her fans and she was always available to me when I needed advice. It was her way. Patsy Montana had the Cowgirl Spirit.

The legacy of Patsy Montana will live forever. Her song "I Want To Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart" has been recorded hundreds of times. Thanks to Miss LeAnn Rimes, this song has again sold millions of copies and is reaching a whole new audience of young people who now think yodeling is "cool." I think LeAnn Rimes is "cool." She never misses a chance to tell the world that I am the person who taught her to yodel. Thanks LeAnn, from Patsy’s family and from mine.
