Sadly, Johnnie High passed from this life recently. Janet appeared with him November of last year, and immediately below are the words she wrote December 9th, 2009. Beneath those is the link to a news article announcing his departure, and one to his website.

"This photo was taken 11-14-09 at the Reunion Show in Arlington.

"In June of 1979 Johnnie put me on The Grapevine Opry Show which was the engine that brought me back to the stage after I stepped down in 1973. I give this man so much credit for my career from that day until now.

"He certainly is a mentor to me."

Janet appeared March 7th at the special Rodeo City Music Hall Benefit to help keep it in business after huge fees were levied by ASCAP.

We've added a brand new Gene Autry page to our website. It is still in the beginning stages, but there you will find screen grabs from the Lifetime Achievement Award DVD shown last fall, and various publications that include our Janet. Just click the button photo immediately above.

This webmaster will be taking a couple of weeks off to allow the hosting company to update their servers, and to add new audio/video processing to this website production.

The plan is to add many more videos here and at YouTube, with higher quality. Having been an attendee at the Mesquite Opry for many years, I can promise that you'll enjoy visiting some of those concert segments brought to the Internet!

Janet recently submitted three of her albums to the website CD Baby, where you can listen to each song on the albums, and purchase the CDs from the website.
