Janet and Patsy Montana go back a ways. As a result, Janet would invite Patsy as featured artist for the Mesquite Opry once a year. The last time Patsy could visit with us, there was a surprise waiting for her backstage.

After the band gave a vigorous downbeat, out stepped Ms. LeAnn Rimes singing "I Want To Be A Cowboy's Sweetheart!" Patsy was beside herself with joy.

If memory serves, a few years later, when LeAnn received a post-humous legacy award for Patsy at the CMA's, she wore the same outfit as she did when she sang for Patsy.
