Lindsay is a 10 year old singer from Blue Ridge, GA. She has been performing on stage since the age of 5.
Her love of country music has taken her all across the South. She has entertained audiences in nine states, including Hollywood, CA, on NBC's "America's Most Talented Kid" Show, where she yodeled her way to fame.
Lindsay first decided to learn to yodel when she bought LeAnn Rimes CD and heard "Cowboy's Sweetheart." She practiced until she got it right. Soon after, she heard about Janet McBride, the "Yodeling Queen," from Texas, through some friends, Mallary Hope and Kaye Whitener.
But it would be a while until she actually met the great lady. While on a trip to Hurricane Mills, Loretta Lynn's Ranch, Lindsay met Kacey Musgraves and Alina Tatum, then known as "The Texas Two Bits." Much to Lindsay's surprise they also knew Janet McBride. That made Lindsay want to meet her that much more. The "Two Bits" gave Lindsay one of their own CD's and she learned every song.
Very shortly after that, a seminar was arranged in Dalton, GA, to bring Janet McBride in to teach yodeling, and Lindsay finally got to meet her. She loved the stories about Patsy Montana, and living out west. Janet has been a true friend, and a great support since that first meeting.
Lindsay has won numerous awards, and met many wonderful people while performing. Her dream is to someday have a career in the music industry.
